Hello! I am Philip Anderson and I provide friendly music lessons for all levels and all ages. I work full-time teaching every kind of brass instrument as well as piano and theory in schools throughout Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, and privately after school in my purpose-built studio at home in Dursley, Gloucestershire.
In my spare time I enjoy playing the euphonium and trombone (or others, if the need arises!) and have been known to turn my hand to composition and arranging. I also have experience in conducting, having taken the reins of brass bands and other ensemble groups, such as university wind bands, training bands and school groups. My most recent conducting experience was with the Marshfield Band and previously with the Sharpness & District Silver Band, where I was the Musical Director for 10 years. I am a full member if the ISM and have several enhanced CRB and DBS checks for music tuition and have completed various Safeguarding Children courses.
